My name is Yousef Raffah and I'm from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Currently I'm working in The Savola Group, as an IT Security Officer. I'm married to a lovely wife who is working as a KG Teacher. I'm very much interested in technology and computers, IT in general, however, I'm mainly focused on security, networking and operating systems. I've been working with Linux and FreeBSD for more than 5 years now, in addition to other commercial Unices like Sun Solaris, HP-UX and Mac OS X. My favorite operating systems are FreeBSD and Mac OS X, as I use both on my personal computers.

In addition to that, I'm part of the GNOME translation team in Arabeyes.org, which is an online community to support the Arabic language for Unix based and Linux systems. We do add Arabic support for existing applications and utilities as well as develop some Arabic applications.

I'm also a photographer, owning a Nikon D70 D200 with other cool equipments and I like to shoot sports actions, muscle/tuned cars and portraits. Recently I got into HDRI images, panoramas and landscapes.

My favorite car is Nissan Skyline GT-R and I can't wait for the new GT-R to be released in the markets.
