I wrote about this in Arabic but due to a problem with my Database server the characters are converted to (?) as per below.
Maktoob has released this morning a new Arabic Search Engine. A fully featured search engine let's say. It is fully arabic compatible and "understands" Arabic characters properly. Not like the other "diying" Search Engine-like sites.
This new service is named Araby.com and I have tried it myself, it looks very promising even though it is still Beta and under testing. Plus, it has an image search and blog searches as well.
My friend Esam Bayazidi, who is currently working for Maktoob has told me about it a couple of hours ago and I thank him for that. Please check his blog for more information.

Characters problem.
Youssef, to fix the arabic characters issue: Make sure you submit your posts from a page encoded in utf-8, and the page you display them from must also be utf-8 encoded. Make your DB text fields utf-8, in mysql, IIRC it is utf-8_general_ or something. Let me know if that helps :~)

Thank you Djihed for your ideas, as a matter of fact, this is not the first time an Arabeyes contributor is trying to help me with this :) Thanks to Mohammed Sameer and you as you all are trying to help. The thing is, the database got corrupted after being upgraded to 4.1, while also I'm waiting to move to a new host, therefore, I thought of waiting till the move then fix everything up there on the new box once and for all.
I really appreciate your kind words and efforts and will definately need your assistance :)
