Tokyo restaurant in Riyadh

Tokyo restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is considered and classified as the best Japanese restaurant in the kingdom located at the end of Al Oruba St.. It combines few Japanese traditions in decorations as well as the way of presenting the food and the general atmosphere. It also leads other Japanese and Sushi restaurants with its wide selection of Sushi orders.

In my recent visit to Riyadh, I had the chance to visit Tokyo restaurant for the first time. I had the intention of visiting Tokyo restaurants long time ago and I always told myself to go to Tokyo on my next visit. Lastly and thankfully it became a reality.

After we rented a car, my friend and I went straight to Tokyo restaurant. It was crowded but luckily we found a spot (wheeew!) on the Sushi bar in front two great chefs. We ordered different kinds of Nigiri Sushi and something new to me was the Scallop Nigiri Sushi. I love Scallops but never tried it as Sushi and it was delicious. We also ordered something named Unazo, which is basically Unagi pieces on top of a good portion of rice in a bento box. This was superb!

To say the least, it was an unforgettable experience. The Sushi was great and I felt like if I visited Japan (Can’t wait to visit the real Tokyo :) ).

The funny thing happened when we were sitting, two young men sat next to us. They tried their best to explain to the waiter what they wanted to eat but he couldn’t understand them as they kept on saying: “Susi, Susi”. They called their friend named Khaled, who seems to be their Sushi expert.

At the end, I encourage you to visit Tokyo restaurant on your next visit to Riyadh if you are looking for a great Sushi or Japanese experience.
